It’s not Over!

This Resurrection Sunday message challenges us to see beyond the cross and empty tomb to embrace the ongoing power available to us today. The central truth we're invited to explore is that Jesus didn't just die for our forgiveness—He rose to give us the Holy Spirit, the ultimate game-changer in our daily lives. Drawing from Revelation 1:18 where Christ declares He holds the keys of death and the grave, we're reminded that what looked like defeat on Friday became victory on Sunday. But here's the revolutionary part: that same resurrection power now dwells within us. The message confronts our tendency to live as spiritual paupers when we have royal inheritance. We often pray for blessings while God wants us to simply seek Him first, promising that all things will be added to us. The empty tomb wasn't just proof of Jesus's victory—it's proof that death, shame, guilt, and every limitation no longer have dominion over us. When we feel buried under life's pressures, knocked down by disappointment, or living with dead dreams, we're called to activate the Holy Spirit within us. This isn't about religious performance or trying to atone for our sins through good works—Christ already declared 'It is finished.' Instead, we're invited into genuine relationship, moving from mere existence to abundant life. The question isn't whether God can resurrect what feels dead in our lives; it's whether we'll believe enough to get up and walk in the newness He's already provided.
